Hi.. Do you think Aussies are becoming Weaker side? I think without Seniors like Mc Grath, Shane Warne, Gilly etc. Aussies are not performing so well like before. What is your opinion?

Yes, they're not as good without some people who would make the country's all time XI.

My ****ing pet hate on this site is the over use of that bloody smiley.

It's at times of such supreme wisdom that I genuinely bemoan The Renaissance.

What an interesting topic for discussion. I'm suprised that no-one has thought of it before.

Yeah agreed.. I'm thoroughly looking forward to SA taking on the likes of Krezja, Haddin, Watson, White et al..

Although I still think Aus will win both their home and return series...

It helps with the aim for the "most threads merged into one" record. I think we already achieved it long ago, but it might yet be broken when all Ashes-2005-related threads are merged into one. Therefore we need to keep going.

C'mon guys can't we be a bit more tolerant and welcoming to a newcomer to the site?

p.s. Personally, I'm delighted to consider the question of Australia's cricketing decline at every available opportunity

Fair enough actually, although I believe the forum rules do tell users to see what threads are about on the first couple of threads before they start with their own

Yeah they do. Recurring threads are annoying to long-term members and that bit of the rules is there for precisely that reason.

Please can someone merge with the main thread?

Me too, but not in a new thread every week. I like these ongoing threads, if I've been a part from the start.

I thought he was a troll trying to annoy someone by starting a well worn thread like this and also one about Bangladesh's Test status - not to mention punctuating both with the inappropiate  smiley.
