***Official*** England in Sri Lanka

Geez this pitch is looking like a bowlers graveyard, not much swing apparent and there certainly isnt much in the pitch, it may crumble a little later on though.

SL get off to a good start but Jayasuriya fooled by Anderson, was looking really good as well. Didn't expect that.

Jayasuriya was looking dangerous, certainly very good for England to get him early. Perera needs to up the pace, hopefully the bowlers can pull it back while Sangakarra gets himself in.

It honestly doesn't look to me like a pitch that's going to be easy to force the pace on TBH.

Amazing that Jayasuriya out in an action-replay of the previous game: Anderson, slower-ball just outside off, picked it, tried to whack it, mistimed it, straight to Pietersen at mid-off.

Meh, as I say, don't really think he was fooled TBH, just tried a shot and didn't time it.

Kumar Sangakarra moves past 6000 ODI runs, fair effort.

Perera out now, Sidebottom with the wicket. Sri Lanka 74/2.

I hope so, means my call of him being pretty average weren't incorrect. England are big favourites here, fairly weak looking batting now.

FFS, Chamara Silva, how hard is it to put a bad ball in a gap?

Reckon Broad's gone for a good 14 or 16 less here than he should have really.

Oh dear.

There's an entry in Wisden - I forget the year - of "batsman bowled by wide". Where exactly the same happened as did here.

Strange that it was called a wide though. Ah well, all's well that ends well.

Shah gets another ODI wicket. 8-)

Wow, weird. The game hinges on Chamara Silva's shoulders now, let's see hw he does under pressure.

I think Owais Shah is about the worst bowler I've ever seen - I can bowl better than him.

How on Earth he's got two ODI wickets is beyond me.
