Cricket Web secured the series with a more polished performance at Taunton, though Somerset's flat home wicket and some brutal batting threw up a run-fest. Thamba Mamesh and Shan Jasotharan did what had been expected of them all series, which was to smash the bowlers all round the square; Mamesh was particularly brutal, though Jasotharan did catch on eventually. The opening stand of 231 faced seven different bowlers, and treated all of them with equal disdain; eventually, it was Miller who got the breakthrough, and a small collapse to 257 for 4 followed. However, Stephen Burke and Matt Pitt played the legitimate deliveries well (though Pitt was bowled off a no-ball on 8), and as the English bowlers gifted 30 extras, the total was a massive 329 for 5.
England's openers started cautiously, but saw off the opening bowlers - however, change bowlers Edmunds and Benjamin got the breakthroughs, and at 78 for 3 most foresaw a swift end. Not Moeen Ali and Rory Hamilton-Brown, though. The pair dug in, saw off some testing bowling, and then set off to emulate Mamesh and Jasotharan - though they used the aerial route. Ali was brutal through the square leg region, and hit a total of four sixes in his unbeaten 107 - however, Hamilton-Brown couldn't quite keep up, and eventually smashed a ball from Warwick down the throat of Cameron at deep square leg. With Ben Wright gone qucikly, the task was too immense, and Moeen Ali concentrated on getting his century. He got it, off 81 balls, but it was still not enough as England U-19 closed on 289 for 5.

Under 19 Selectors ring the changes
The Under 19 selectors have decide to make four changes for the 3rd YODI against England Under 19s. After wrapping up the series in the 2nd match on the back of a suberb 148 from captain Thamba Mamesh, the selectors have decided to bring on the four un-used players from the first two games. Thamba Mamesh, Harry Warrick, Andy Cameron and Paddy Gundry make way. Ben Vaughan also takes to the gloves from acting captain Stephen Burke, as the selectors look at his keeping ability for future Under 19 tours. CW Blue all rounder Matt Currie takes over as vice captain, the role he played in a tour match against England A, during their tour of CWLand.

Cricket Web's finest youth overcame a testing opening spell from Somerset opening bowler Robert Woodman to provide what was possibly their most convincing victory all tour and secure a 3-0 sweep. At 39 for 2, with both the hard-hitting Jasotharan and Scott out for low scores, Cricket Web looked in trouble, but the change bowlers failed to put on sustained pressure. Woodman claimed another scalp when Pooja Bharat inside edged for a stifled 17, but Stephen Burke came up with a classic, if restrained innings, while Matt Pitt smashed boundaries all around the park to back up the selectors' confidence. An over from Moeen Ali started true carnage from the Colts batsman, as Pitt hit fifteen to move onto 88; a few overs later, he brought up the hundred with a gorgeous pull shot off Mullaney. Pitt eventually settled with 140 not out, while Burke nicked an outswinger from Huw Waters for 74, but they still played the major parts in a Cricket Web innings worth 273.
When England batted, they were unsurprisingly shown up by spin. Varun Chopra departed early, and the English suddenly looked like batting for the draw, as Stoneman and Nelson scored at just above two an over before Callum Benjamin ended the droning, inducing an edge behind to Burke for seven. With spinners Currie and Roberts bowling in tandem for most of the rest of the innings, the heart was taken out of the England chase for good, as Matt Currie sent both Rory Hamilton-Brown and Moeen Ali back to the pavilion and England to 120 for 5. George Roberts then claimed a couple more to end with three for 50, before McKern and Edmunds got the honour of wrapping up England for 161. The performance left a lot to be desired before the Test series starting later this week.
