Always a shame to see Pant out, honestly he's so good, but from an Aus perspective they needed that. He just couldnt' resist going at that line from over the wicket, which I think is the right anglt to him. Cummins been average today as noted, but probably deserved that. Beaten the bat quite a lot.

Oh yeah, McJerk is genuinely terrible by any internationl standard. Hasn't shown any sort of inclination he's up to making decent runs. By all reports he's completely full of himself too, which makes it worse that they've picked him

From the first time I saw Pant I thought his best asset, among many, was he's completely fearless in the way he plays. It's what makes him so good to watch, but I kind of expected that as he progressed he'd lose that like everyone does as the usual doubts set in when you have a bad run or you...

He doesn't usually do that tbh. He probably has as broad a knowledge of overseas cricketers as any commentator doing the rounds anywhere. He researches them pretty assiduously, I'm talking carries handwritten notebooks into the comm box with him which he's assembled in the off season while...

Bhogle has sounded like he's been in a tomb all day, but now there's been a couple of reverse sweeps he's back to being his usual late-night-mozzie-in-your-ear level of imbecility.

Might have flciked the shirt sleeve He hasn't been anywhere near his best Cummins but he could still easily ahve had two or three for not many.

Strikes me as an unjustifiably smug bastard, Sundar. And I'm qualified to comment.

I think by the time he's on 60 the ball won't be going there.

Fly slip/ third man is a good catching position in Perth if someone is going hard at the ball.
