Tetenda Taibu was on Extra Cover last night, he was very descreet but I could see his happiness at the fact that these guys had been arrested, maybe, just maybe, it will mean the start of a new era for Zimbabwean cricket.

Yep, Protea is right, apparently he'll still get treatment but he will most probably even be able to play in the warm-up match :D I just don't think he'll be trying to take any spectacular catches in the first few matches :p

Bad news for Smith... Smith might have broken his finger whilst trying to catch Dravid out. This doesn't spell good things for us against the Australians, Smith is an integral part of our batting line up, especially in tests. Let's hope that he would be able to play in the first test. More here

Let's hope the weather improves enough that there can atleast be a game, even if it is shortened, it would really be sh*t if there's no game! Nobody wants the possibility of this series ending in a tie!

    Rugby Wc 2011

So I was way off in my analysis. Can't say I'm too dissapointed with the decision. When we saw SA was out of the running, everybody in my house at the time, rooted for Japan, but me. I guess it's because I still wanted the matches to held in a powerhouse. I do believe it will be a brilliant...

Which is exactly why I used Apparently. I read it on a worldcup forum, but that person didn't state any sources so I couldn't be sure it wasn't just heresay. I'm glad that you have proven me wrong, I had wondered how an extra 20 000 people could hamper NZ that badly as it is a tourist...

    Rugby Wc 2011

That's my question as well. Apparently with the recent Lions tour, some people had to stay in Australia and fly to the games as there wasn't place to stay in the host nation, others had to stay in cities hundreds of miles away. This was 20 000 fans, what are they going to do with 100 000? I...

I know it's after the point now, as we won without either of them getting out, but to answer the question, I've only seen him bat a couple of times in domestic cricket, and yes he is quite a good batter. His first class average is 31.89 or something- He definitely has potential!

And just after I post that, he goes and get himself bowled! 8-) 77/3 come on, these guys jus love digging holes for themselves! :@ I do still believe that SA are the favourites to win it, I just hope that Kallis and Prince can get a partnership going!

I agree, even though I think the pitch did lend a hand in this morning's collapse, that wasn't the main factor. The main factor was the good bowling/bad batting. I saw the first five wickets before coming to work, and that honestly was the impression I got. Even though the pitch did stay...
