    England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

2022/23 was 2 tests. This is our first three match series at home since South Africa in 2016/17.

The second test didn't get me, but definite tears in the eyes after that one. Well done to Ajaz and Young this time ... someone different stood up massively in every test which is brilliant to see.

Knew that'd do the trick lol.

Definitely worth giving Henry an over here for Phillips. I wouldn't trust anyone else not to struggle with the pressure of coming in cold at this stage though ...

The ball deviated 45 degrees ... in mid-air, mind you!

Personally thought that was caught, but I'll begrudgingly settle for LBW.

Macewell must be cursing his remarkable virility.

To think we did it without Williamson ... and then did it in this test without our MOTM in the first test, Henry! A truly amazing achievement, I really have no idea what's happened here.

So from what I can see India have only lost four test series at home since March 1987? That's an incredible record. Wait, that's counting the Asian Test Championship in 1999, does that even count? So three series losses since March '87. :o

It would be an ATG chase from India to get there ... if the bowling is accurate then you need patience to score runs out there and I don't know if this batting line-up has it.

That sums up the morning's play from NZ, such a crap attitude from the tail.

It's the best the White Ferns have caught in years, as well.

Can people stop talking about Stead? I want to enjoy the win and pretend he doesn't exist for a few hours.

Hopefully that is a point where Young starts to turn a corner, he did really well out there today.

Really good time for Ravindra to come in.

Just need to be patient and get through this opening spell with the new ball. India showed yesterday there's plenty of runs to be had later on. Young and Conway doing a good job so far. Just need to not panic!

We had a two 4-day game and three 50-over game tour scheduled in Bangladesh this month for NZ A, but it had to be called off over safety concerns, with the government falling there.
