*Official* New Zealand in England 2015

I think everyone is blowing this series way out of proportion. The setup: England got slaughtered in the World Cup and were the lesser of two sides in the Test series due to NZ's aggressiveness. The one time England did play in a similar manner, Stokes' Lord's century, we won the match. England...

Could this be the new record for the most economical spell for a bowler whose first over went for 22?

    20 I believe.

Hales has been, very much correctly, given a lot of chances in ODI format. Now is the time for him to make a big score and absolutely cement his place. He's shown heaps of promise and talent but promise and talent don't win matches. Runs do. Hopefully today is the day!

What's the record for total runs scored in a 5-match series? This series is looking good for it surely!

Am I the only one who heard a very definite noise there in real time? Only for there to be no sound on the replay and nothing on snicko.... am I losing it?

Not New Zealand's fault at all and no one could argue they didn't deserve to win, but England and cricket in general were just utterly robbed of what could have been one of the most exciting and epic finishes of all time. :( England deserved the chance to try and cricket deserved the spectacle...

That Duckworth Lewis.... 34 runs off 13 balls. Seriously? So we lose 24 balls but only 20 runs are taken off the target! That settles that then. :(

9/6/15 - England 202/6 after 30 overs. Made 408. 12/6/15 - England 202/4 after 27 overs. Only need 399. It was a good try, New Zealand. It was a good try.

Was nice of England to be sporting and slow down a bit, giving New Zealand that maiden in the fourth over to repay the favour from the first over of the NZ innings. All square now though. Game on!

This doesn't look like a 398 pitch, think NZ were about 20 or 30 short. Let's see if their slow start comes back to bite them!

Hope New Zealand make 400, then the series can go down as the series of the 400s! Especially if we chase it down! Edit: Terrible decision, looked plumb. Also damn, only 398. Fantastic tour this one though, New Zealand light years ahead of the team they were just a few years ago.

Cook deciding that if England are going down, then Tom Latham is going down with us!

The DRS procedures are there to give the umpires the benefit of the doubt, not necessarily the batsmen. DRS is intended as a supplement to the umpires as opposed to a supreme court for batsmen to appeal grey-area decisions to with intent to get them overruled. The fact remains that it was given...

By that logic, would you say a batsman is unlucky when he's bowled top of off? LBW rule assumes the batsman isn't there to block the ball. If it's hitting the stumps, I don't see how you can call him unlucky for being given out. He could very easily have been given not out, however, but that's...

Yes! A wicket! Now maybe New Zealand will stop scoring runs so qui.... oh.

Seems like Ballance might end up owing quite a few runs that he doesn't look like being able to deliver at the moment. How we could have done with having NZ at 42-3.
