    Shaun Tait quits cricket

Wow this came out of nowhere... I guess it explains his performance in perth. I rather he do this and comes back fresh in 5 years or so then trudge on like this and keep on performing badly. Hope he recovers soon

    Australia 2nd 11

Voges would also have a good chance of getting into the side IMO

Hail Sri Lanka - 2nd best test team in the world

But so far India's performance with the bat has been pathetic. Sri lanka have been more competitve with the bat with Sangakarra, Jayawardene getting centuries and India have been more competitive with the ball with Kumble. But overall I agree India in general have been more competitive as they...

What will become of Dwayne Bravo?

Bravo seems to be recieving a lot of flak for his bowling... But compared to the current WI pacemen he's actually alright. Bravo's average: 43.37 Powell's average: 43.62 Edward's average: 43.01 Taylor's average: 39.68 Sammy's average: 12.25 Granted the WI bowlers aren't exactly great though

Im starting to believe what attapattu said about the selectors

of course Vaas is better, but the selectors might drop him

Im starting to believe what attapattu said about the selectors

Oh right sorry my bad, Im fairly new to this forum. And yeah I have to agree, there both pretty average. But I would still choose maharoof. At least he won't go for 4 an over. He just bowls too many bad bowls. Fernando has been given a lot of chances and has been too inconsistent. Also Maharoof...

Im starting to believe what attapattu said about the selectors

There a bunch of jokers. Honestly, I just read in the newspaper (canberra times) that they were trying to bring malinga into the team, good. But they were thinking of replacing Vaas with malinga. I don't know why they seem to be so keen on keeping fernando in the team. He just can't bowl. At the...

    European Union Test Team

its a good idea, but I think it has a few problems. What if one of the EU teams becomes too good and can afford to have one team for its country in the future? That would stuff up the EU team. And I think it would be a bit hard if the players from different countries spoke a different language.

    I has been drinking...

I would rate him highly as an allrounder, but not as much as a batsman. Sure he is very effective even if he is slow, but because he is slow it doesn't make him versitile. And in some situations, mainly in one day internationals he hasn't been able to score quickly. So you can argue that he is...

    Haddin for Gilchrist in ODI

Yeah they should. Let Gilly concentrate in tests and give haddin a shot and prepare him from the world cup. He has been batting equal, if not better than gilchrist has been in India.

Do the England Selectors Have a Clue?

There not too bad with tests. But a lot of their one day selections are questionable. And Plunkett is definitely better than mahmood

which is better, shoe goo or toegaurds?

Thats more of a problem you would get in england rather than in australia.

which is better, shoe goo or toegaurds?

    lol not quite.

which is better, shoe goo or toegaurds?

So basically they do the job the same, its just shoe goo is better value for money? And yeah a lot of people where I live use shoe goo or toe guards.
  16. Salixiscool

which is better, shoe goo or toegaurds?

k I have just got a new bat and want to put some protection on the toe on the bat. The thing is I don't really know weather to put shoe goo on the bottom or a toeguard. Is there any major differences between them or anything? Is one just clearly better or are they pratically the same? Some...

    Stop bashing Twenty20

While I'm not a huge fan of 20/20 I think it should stay. Its a good fun match once in a while. And at least the matches aren't dominated by Australia.

    The Indian ODI side

I haven't really watched India play too recently, but whenever I check the scorecard, their batsmen a lot of the time seem to underperform. They have a bunch on world class batsmen yet a lot of the time they don't perform as well as they should. As for the bowling. I agree they have got talent...

How good a bowler was Dennis Lillee?

Dennis Lillee is a legend and will always be a legend. Granted not the best bowler of all time but he was a very very good bowler.
