***Official*** West Indies Tour of Pakistan- TEST SERIES- Jan 16 to 28, 2025

I'd rather be WI than Pakistan with the 254 target.

***Official*** West Indies Tour of Pakistan- TEST SERIES- Jan 16 to 28, 2025

What proper batsmanship? Sure, this pitch isn't easy to bat on. However, proper test batting would make a big difference!

KC is in. Cricinfo has Amir Jangoo as keeper. Anyway: somewhat surprised JdS was dropped. Thoughts?

School boy calling: Nice sound of the bat, hence a run.

**Official** 4th Test at Melbourne, 26-30 Dec 2024

Either you shout 'NO' straight away, or you run. This was stupid by Kohli, doing some ball watching, before sending the striker back.

Is there a serious chance the ICC will suspend Kohli for "inappropriate physical contact"?

Is Mitch unable to bowl, or just considered a louzy option?

    **Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

Possibly, but as others have said: he shouldn't bat there.

Valid point. However, I can't imagine India avoiding the follow-on. Not sure what the weather will be on days 4 & 5, but Aus might only need 120 overs, to get 16 wickets.

I've just finished watching highlights. That Kohli dismissal.... According to cricinfo commentary, it was (somewhat) set up. Doens't take away the fact that ball was very very leavable. One can see why Kohli wants to cash in. But not when on three. It really did look very junior.

As did Brooks. Though I have a hopelessly long record myself, of getting out standing on the back foot, to slightly over pitched balls, I always realise it is my own fault. The main difference between me and Brook or Woakes is that I play at the lowest imaginable level of cricket. In Holland........

On cue: a classic drive to extra cover.

Yeah, I agree. A well deserved fifty, imho. It's just that those drives seem like ages ago. A batsman having found his rhythm, yet going back into his shell, because the bowling tells him to, is a treat of test cricket.

I can hardly recall Jamie Smith playing a really nice cricket shot. Seems like ages ago.

Referring to the ball that pitched a mile outside leg?

I watched him bat at Trent Bridge in 2015. The day Stuart got 8-for-not-a-lot. Got in half an hour after lunch, having missed 12 wickets. Next minute, the scoreboard told me Joe had a century.

Because there is a chance that Saturday & Sunday will wash out, perhaps?

I honoustly wouldn't know if it's out when a ballless glove and the ball hit a stump at the same time.
