    Jakes 2009/10 cricket season log

Sorry I haven't been bothered to update this about training, occasionally if something out of the ordinary happens at training I might update, but ATM will just stick to matches and whatnot.

    Battrick

He can only bowl what he was given to. He is still my star spinner, I wasn't talking about this game only. EDIT: 17 @ 14.76 in OD and 25 @ 14.52 in FC Agree.

    CW Battrick Cup (season 13)

Epic match, went right down to the wire. Good chase in the end, good total set in the first dig too. Well done Andy!

    CW Battrick Cup (season 13)

And the following over Burger goes. Good knock, hopefully this cautious player with a 31k BT rating (what is he?) can lift the rate.

    CW Battrick Cup (season 13)

End of Over 38: 194-1, runrate=5.11, reqrunrate=6.25 (268-4) Shaka 9-0-27-0 Burger* 89 (107 balls) Terry 42 (49 balls) Last Wicket: Hurren b. Mccammon 55 (FOW: 109/1) Definitely time to get a move on. What were there settings? Hopefully someone can attack and score quickly, and if it's not...

    CW Battrick Cup (season 13)

Wicket. Terry is your best bat, right?

    CW Battrick Cup (season 13)

I don't know who to support. Just an onlooker. :p Good batting here from Ponies, hopefully setting up to score quicker soon. Yes, I am following this game on BT, FTR.

    Battrick

Won by 245, rolled them for 84 after 17.4, my star spinner Fillery taking 4/13. Bignot (3-22), Vernon (2-23) and Champness (1-23) had the the other wickets.

Will Sachin Tendulkar get 100 International centuries?

Especially if it was the last ball of the match with 1 to win. I'd probably just sit there for ages until I burst out laughing when I realized what happened. Almost cracking a laugh just thinking about it. Smiling, TBH.

Will Sachin Tendulkar get 100 International centuries?

I can't see him getting it thinking realisticly, but with Sachin, it's possible. Needs to score a heck load of runs and stop getting out in the 90's though. :p On a side note, I'd laugh so hard if he got out of 99 in his last game with 99 tons. Every Indian/Tendulkar fan would neck themselves...

    Posting League table

I don't think I'll ever be right up there, unless the top members stop posting or slow significantly and I keep posting, but being a cricket forum, with cricket being played very regularly, plus off topic sections, there is always something to post about. EDIT: 159 BTW. I reckon I'll be into...

I was IE for ages >>> Chrome for ages >>> FF for ages with no plans to change. They always update versions, have really good ad ons, the main I use is AdBlocker, plus I can block sites and stuff when I want to, etc, through Mozilla.

Preview of Australia's summer - Line ups, predictions and more! (Part 1 of 3)

That wouldn't be too bad an idea. I'm pretty keen to see West Indies fill strength XI v Australia, and hopefully it can happen. A bit late, I know. I should probably write more of this, but I forgot what part 2 was. EDIT: No I didn't, it was Pakistan. I'll get around to writing this one...

Ah well, fair enough. FireFox is the best and easiest to use, and I've got a habit of highlighting text as I'm reading and then moving it out slightly and back in, so it looks cool. I find reading hard on the eyes without highlighting it anyway.
