    5th Match - India v Pakistan

Pakistan is such a boring team. Most of their exciting batters come in when there is no overs left or when the game is over. And their bowling is extremely new ball heavy.

The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

It's a much m Border at 6? I remember him having a good record at 6 but not sure how many games he played. Chappell had a flawless record though.

Garner makes a really good argument in this team. Could come in place of Ambrose since this team probably needs a non-new ball bowler.

The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

An alternate XI: Gavaskar, Boycott, Kallis, Sachin, Border, de Villiers, Knott, Hadlee, McGrath, Murali, Ambrose I have a bad feeling that I'm forgetting someone here but I don't know who

    Andy Flower vs Ian Botham

Kinda ridiculous to compare a WK with an AR But I'd go Flower. Botham had a GOATed peak but fell off very quickly. Flower had a solid 10 years, even more if not for Mugabe. He could've been a much better batter if not for constantly coming much earlier than a normal no. 5 does.

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

In t20s he's like top 10 greatest players ever imo. He's also a very good ODI cricketer. Just needs to play more games

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

I'm convinced that Rashid is a proper No. 7.

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

Nah this is pathetic. With batting till 9 at least try to put some pressure back on.

Group A - Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan

Rohit is the best ODI batter in this decade. He has been scoring a truckload of runs at an amazing strike rate while averaging 50+. And he has scored runs against all attacks on tricky conditions as well. Gill is yet to prove himself against the best bowlers in the world. Most of his runs...

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

Why can't AFG batters be more aggressive in the powerplay? They have batting depth till 9. They should be going bonkers.

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

Having Rahmat Shah and Shahidi anywhere below 5 is going to be disastrous. They aren't going to get you 150 in 20 overs.

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

    Gulabdin is batting at 7

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

With Gurbaz out this chase is pretty much done. They don't really have any other aggressors in the top 5.

Everton Weekes vs AB De Villiers

I think Warne also played a lot of cricket in India when his shoulder wasn't at a 100%. Had a decent 2004 tour after that.

Everton Weekes vs AB De Villiers

Hmm so Weekes gets a big buff and Compton also saves his pride. Reminds me of Anderson's numbers after you remove the 2013 Ashes which he played with a broken rib. His numbers in Australia look so much better if we remove that series.

Everton Weekes vs AB De Villiers

What are his numbers in his other tours?

    3rd Match - Afghanistan v South Africa

I think Klaasen will make the next WC.

AB de Villiers vs Denis Compton

    I'd go for AB.
