End of Over 7: 33-2, runrate=4.71, reqrunrate=5.26 (258-4) Paris 1-0-9-0 Northrop* 17 (17 balls) Briscoe 14 (15 balls) Last Wicket: Russell c. Siems b. Adri 0 (FOW: 2/2) Adri picked up a couple of early ones. Provided they don't make any big partnerships, I should get away with the win.

End of Over 45: 217-4, runrate=4.82 Gilks 9-1-26-2 Vidale* 30 (29 balls) Mchugh 0 (0 balls) Last Wicket: Mulvaney c. Murray b. Gilks 2 (FOW: 217/4) We do seem to be speeding up a bit in the last 10. Mulvaney went with Hughes in the space of 4 balls, which I'm not really complaining about. Now...

End of Over 17: 87-1, runrate=5.12 Stanford 4-0-11-0 Francois* 28 (26 balls) Hughes 24 (48 balls) Last Wicket: Siems c. Tedstone b. Barat 25 (FOW: 41/1) Francois keeping up the good rate after Siems dismissal, shame that Hughes is ristricting us from a run a ball or greater.

    How to measure bowling speed

You're obviously doing it wrong then. Do it the opposite way. When I did it with my friends one day at school, we got around 80-90kph, which is about right, so it works.

End of Over 2: 9-0, runrate=4.50 Stanford 1-0-2-0 Hughes* 1 (5 balls) Siems 6 (7 balls) Playing my mate today, really looking forward to this match. He's bought some new players recently, so it should be a close match. Carn boys!

Absolutely nothing to do on battrick for the rest of the season bar watch the games. Set the orders for first XI games, then set my default as my second XI, so I don't have to do that. Keen for friendlies if anyone has similar teams, or will play a similar quality side to mine.

Set myself up a training plan, which will see me through the end of season 22/start of season 23. Probably won't stick to it completely, but I've drawn up what I feel are some nice plans to point my club in the right direction.

Not sure how many people are going to pay money for the site. I certainly wouldn't. It's not like it's the end of the world if CW would shut down on us, either.

    How to measure bowling speed

Work what out? The speeds? Finally, we've got everything sorted out - so how fast do you actually bowl? Naturally, the best thing possible to use would be a radar gun - however they're not generally widely available to clubs and schools - but there is a simple way that needs just a stopwatch...

    *Official* Australia in England

Only following on Cricinfo due to it not being on FTA till 10:30, but if we can double our score from 30 overs, and post 280ish, we should be able to win. Just hoping Clarke doesn't play agonisingly slow and White get's going.

I reckon cons is more important than stamina, cus he'll train stamina no matter what, and cons will be slow to pop earlier on.

    Battrick

Possibly, I don't know much about TM values TBH. I must say, you'd be wasting your time on training him from this point. Just put more nets and stam/fielding on other players till you can buy/pull a spinner next season and train him up while this guy/other current spinner is doing the job.

Brings back memories. Fillery in his early days. Wish I never sold Nissanka, did it when I was a n00b and stupid, he could be an awesome keeper by now if I didn't think selling him was the best way to get out of debt. Rocastle was also a good young prospect back in the day.

This. Was probably the poster's shots, people wouldn't be as harsh if you actually said they were yours. If they we're your's, no one will really care.

Yeah we will. Hooper can be our other comparison team, he says he signed up at around the same time as me. Not trying to make any excuses for you being better, but have you had any lengthy absences from playing? Also, I'll hit you up for a friendly this weekend if you like. I'm interested to...

Your team is a bit better than mine but not by much, and I'm struggling to stay alive in my Div 5 OD league. You should throw a couple of matches and finish high-mid table.
