In a pretty bad spot bowling wise, as I splashed 700k on an allrounder to fill the no7 gap in my side. Now I'm left with a bowling attack of: Strong/Superb/Strong Med/Resp/Comp Strong/Quality/Superb (wrist spin) Med/Prof/Resp (off spin) Med/Prof/Comp (allrounder, off spin) The med/resp/comp...

Sitting at 5/385 overnight on day 2. Going to head out tomorrow with a real aggressive intent, bash a few quick runs, hopefully knock them over and have time to chase.

Ended up getting them all out for 323, in the last over of the day. Time to pile on a few, but will have to make the deccy at the perfect time if I'm going to have time to bowl them out again, and chase.

    Captaincy ?

Following on from that, try to give the non bowlers a chance to roll the arm over, and the lower order batters a chance to put the pads on early, when the games not on the line. That way they'll like you instead of being **** bored doing nothing. Also try to not put the same player out on the...

I was wondering if we could have this brought in? I'm far more interested to read into threads I've already posted in, and I can't remember everything I've posted in. Most other forums (infact, all) I've visited before have this marked with a small dot or arrow to the left of the thread title...

*Official* Road to the 2010/11 Ashes

Indeed. But in the first test it's pretty likely he wont want to risk losing when he could bat a bit longer and bat them out of the game, for example. I doubt he'll be taking too many risk with the chance of losing 3 Ashes on the line.

*Official* Road to the 2010/11 Ashes

Just read through the thread. Time for my replies. I agree with your whole 7 bats you have faith in thing, except how's the 5th bowler gunna work? I see no problem with 5 bats, a keeper, Broad then Swann, then 3 genuine bowlers. I reckon Johnson will stand out. Warners not an opening bat...

Lloyd Porter - 2 bowling, 1 stam Lawrence Alexis - 1 stam, 2 bat, 1 wk And try to pull a batsmen in the 'club info'. On the side it says develop a new player, try to put the max on batting and concentration, and use whats left on stamina, and put him on 2 bat 1 stam. These 3 should be your...

Ah ****. Set my orders for this a couple of weeks ago, and am playing 5 bowlers instead of an allrounder (that I bought a few days ago) and 4 owlers. Batting a bit weaker than it as to be in this match.
