*Official* First Test at the Gabba

Yeah and that's why there was more excitement in today's call. Honestly, have watched the video a few times now and really don't see the problem.

Well that's a comment on the Sky style on general, and whilst I don't agree with it, each will have their own preference. But it's not a bias thing, check out Anderson's hat-trick: YouTube - Jimmy Anderson Hat-Trick v Pakistan

Much louder boos as well. In general Sky crowd audio is louder, I think.

Meh, I thought it was fine, that's usually how they are, they don't go OTT. They're usually a bit louder and you can hear the pleasure in their voice when it's one of their own, but there's not a commentator in the world that doesn't do that.

I wouldn't be too concerned if I was an English fan, the batting looked pretty solid and confident, certainly not afraid of the Australian attack. Yeah, things didn't go as planned but they will as the series goes on unless our attack fixes itself up pretty quickly. You won't have blokes bowling...

    Test Match Sofa *Ashes Edition*

Really enjoyed their Ashes preview, although disappointed they didn't read out my proclamation of love for Shane Watson from the email address "martyncorrin84@gmail.com" today :@

    Channel 9 gagf

9 have butchered the cricket coverage in just about every way possible over the years. There's a new low just about every season and it amazes how they can manage to outdo themselves consistently year in, year out.

They don't aside from Chappell and Greig who have overseas gigs. Basically November comes around, they dust off the suits and old cliches and get stuck in. But obviously they've played Test cricket so they're the best candidates for the job...

Was very sceptical about Siddle, but happy to have egg on my face. Still think leaving out Bolly if he was fit was a shocker though. Hilf and Johnson should be fighting for a place now, although neither deserve it for Adelaide.

Don't think England are in too much trouble tbh, if Bell and Swann can get them to 300 it'll still be game on.

No way Johnson can justify his place in this side anymore. He's just as useful as North these days.
