*Official* 8th massacre at the SCG

From an English point of few, i'd love to see Wade open the batting. It would just about be our only chance of taking an early wicket!

***Official*** Road to the 2015 Cricket World Cup

With the current goings-on down under for the England team, it's hard to predict where we will be for 2015. The only players who I would think will be there are: Buttler, Broad, Jordan, Morgan and Bell. The rest of the team seems a little bit shakey. Granted Gary Ballance will probably be there...

***Official*** India in New Zealand 2013/14

I have to say this is probably true. If he were to be given the choice to play for either regularly, he'd still be in the green and gold.

*Official* 8th massacre at the SCG

This tour just goes from bad to worse. When are the top order going to put some runs on? Lost 3 wickets before we'd even reached 100. Also have to question Ben Stokes at 3 really, don't understand that.

India, Australia, England attempt to take control of Cricket

This will be the end of test cricket for so many. Even with the additional test cricket fund, boards such a NZC and WICB will slip further and further away if the revenue is split mainly between the 3 power boards.

Has Jos Buttler put a case for a test place forward?

More on about the test side here. Wouldn't want Bairstow anywhere near the ODI side tbh for two reasons: 1.) His ODI and List A averages are shocking and 2.) where would you put him? He isn't a power hitter to have in the middle order (and isn't better than anyone in the current middle order)...

Has Jos Buttler put a case for a test place forward?

Prior would be my first choice too but I do think Buttler should be in the squad ahead of Bairstow. Once Prior is done, Buttler will have had a few years at Lancs and if he scores well and keeps well for them I can only see one option when Prior calls it a day. I feel Bairstow might be another...

***Official*** Pakistan v Sri Lanka in UAE 2013/14

Looks like his debut will be like Ashton Agar's! Surprised everybody with the bat, yet unimpressive with the ball.

What matches are you planning on going to this Year?

Probably just some County Championship/ YB50/ T20 games down at New Road. And maybe the odd game at Edgbaston seeing as my Uni campus is about 10 minutes by bus from the ground.

Has Jos Buttler put a case for a test place forward?

Hi all, Buttler is consistently getting runs in ODI and T20 cricket, and with Prior and Bairstow not looking up to scratch as of late I was wondering if you guys think he should be given a chance? Averages low 30's in FC cricket which granted is lower than Prior's (39) and Bairstow's (40)...

    *Official* Second ODI in Brisbane

Can't decide whether it was exceptionally poor bowling at the death or just great batting from Faulkner. Letting a team put on 65 for the last wicket in a run chase just isn't on and this will have knocked every last bit of wind that was in England's sails. The last 3 ODI's could be ugly.

    Cricket Bloggers/Tweeters

From what I can gather, they're just normal cricket lovers who dedicate their twitter feeds to their thoughts on cricket. Some of which you may agree with, some you may not. That's sport.

ICC considers a Relegation and Promotion system for Test Cricket

I get where you're coming from with that, but isn't that kind-of what we have now? South Africa, Australia, England and India all play each other more frequently then they do the likes of WI, Pak, SL, NZ. I think if they were to implement it, then they'd have to go with matches against your own...

    Cricket on YouTube

What are the best cricketing channels on YouTube? Obviously i'm subscribed to ECB, CATV, robelinda (absolute legend!) etc.. but I was wondering if there's any more?

***Official*** Pakistan v Sri Lanka in UAE 2013/14

Looks like the deck is going to spin big on day 4/5 which I think will sway it Pakistan's way. Ajmal and Rehman should be able to utilise that more than Herath and Perera will. In the balance though from what I saw this morning (granted it was only the last session), if Pakistan can get either...

    *Official* Second ODI in Brisbane

3rd best ODI bowler in the world at one stage (might still be actually) and now can't get a look in, in a team with Boyd Rankin in. Mental how it can change!

ICC considers a Relegation and Promotion system for Test Cricket

It's a good idea, with the playoffs for test status between the top associate nations and lower ranked full members for test status. Gives Ireland/Afghanistan the chance to prove themselves. Apart from that I can't see how it will help test cricket. Test cricket is very much a marmite-kind-of...

Worst cricketers to follow on twitter?

Sreesanth. Especially since he's been banned for match fixing, he's got even worse!

    *Official* Second ODI in Brisbane

Jos Butler with another handy innings there. Hopefully Gilo/Cooky (or whoever decides the batting order) won't stick him down at 8 again! Would be very surprised if one of either Cook or Root isn't dropped for this ODI.
