    Best non batsman, batsmen.

McMillan and Wasim Raja are ineligible on a strict count of innings batting 7-11/1-6 in Tests. Joe Solomon is another specialist bat who quite often batted at 7 (though not in the majority of his innings).

    Best non batsman, batsmen.

There are a few players picked as specialist batsmen batting at 7, or occasionally even lower. I'm not quite sure what India were thinking at the 1948 Adelaide Test, but they had batsmen who neither bowled nor kept wicket - Kishenchand, Adhikari and Rangnekar - batting at 7, 8 and 9 (8, 9 and 10...

    Best non batsman, batsmen.

Surprised no-one's mentioned Imran (98 out of 126 innings at 7 or lower). Dhoni, Dujon, Knott and Prior are among the best keeper-batsmen who were usually at 7 or lower.

    The Records and Milestones thread

There's some interesting stats about Mayers's innings in this article, but it's very carelessly written/edited: - "0 Previous Instances of teams successfully chasing a target of 395 or more in Asia in the fourth innings of a Test" - bit of a silly way to say "this is the highest ever run chase...

https://stats.acscricket.com/Records/Test/Overall/Team/Highest_Innings_Without_Extras.html gives all the completed innings plus any where over 100 runs were scored without any contribution from Extras. I always thought of it as something that hadn't happened for decades, but there are plenty of...

@jimmy101 - if you'd like to avoid having a bye in each round, I'm happy to run a "best of the rest" squad from the unpicked players.
