    Pretty please with this batting lineup. Would've liked a bit more of a warm up of course, but batting all the way down to Ravindra/Blundell is pretty solid. Will have few excuses if we collapse.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm seeing small amounts of swing and small amounts of reverse swing. Have seen the ball swing around corners, particularly in SL but also some tests in India too. I don't think this is one of those pitches.

    It's a low slow pitch that is terrible for pace bowlers. Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson are just very good bowlers, and our spinners are relatively poor.

    That's not "clipping" that's clearly crashing into the top of middle and leg. Should not be umpire's call. If that's "umpire's call" then all of the balls missing leg by a small amount should also be umpire's call.
