How would you rank the bowling attacks in world cricket as of today ?

...as often as the other, but both India's team overall and their home conditions are more geared towards getting series draws even when they haven't played the better kallisball and winning close series, which is why they're a better team. I don't think it's really a function of their attack...

    ***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2010/11

They can be very obnoxious when they start pushing their carts tbh. A shame because I want to move to Melbourne one day. And wow, Hastings. What dire kallisball.

Victoria are a terrible kallisball side, gifting a near hatrick to absolute pies.

Kallis should get $9 million if people know their Kallisball

 We need to collect these in a "glossary of kallisball terms"

Won't call it average tbh. Decent to say the least except the occasional terrible ones. But overall awful kallisball from Tas.

what kind of kallisball team suffers two watsons in 8 overs?

Australia - the aftermath of the Ashes

...shedding the Ashes-centric mentality. Picking your best team to play every series should the goal and not picking every young talented kallisballer who has barely any FC experience and has a bowling action like Warnie's so as to groom them for Ashes 2013. Test kallisball is not a place for...

Should Sachin Tendulkar retire from International Cricket?

True. The interest level will drop for a few months maybe. There will be lots of nostalgia but things will move on.

Should Sachin Tendulkar retire from International Cricket?

A portion of the kallisball watchers who generally religiously watch ODI kallisball and follow Test kallisball with only a scorecard level interest may wane away. The people who follow test kallisball will watch irrespective of whether Sachin is playing or not and that is true to a majority of...

Should Sachin Tendulkar retire from International Cricket?

:laugh: that is a good idea. Better than Kallisball I should say :)

Should Sachin Tendulkar retire from International Cricket?

 I propose that all mention of Sachin in scorecards be replaced with Rajnikanth.

*Official* Fifth Test at the SCG

Yeah, fair point. After the pasting they took in the 1st Test, the fact I'm criticising them for not ramming home an advantage and winning the series is a mark of an impressive turn around and team. At the same time, England could have wilted after Perth, but we've won these two Tests about as...

On a side note, I'm happy to be able to actually use "kallisball" in serious posts as well now. :p

OK.. yeah I get your point now. Yeah that's pretty fair, we were certainly a bit lucky at times in the 2nd Test and the performance was far from flawless (especially the batting), just good enough to get the job done.

*Official* Fifth Test at the SCG

Haha, I think that's a great example of what I was saying though! Across the series, South Africa played the better kallisball as their win in the first Test was more impressive than India's in the second, and the third Test ended up quite even by the end. Yet despite that, it was a drawn series...

The ICC's All time ODI dream XI

He did not have any support too . Had to bowl with ordinary bowlers at the other end, throughout his career on Indian pitches too which favoured the spinners big time. Once i think he opened the bowling with Gavaskar at the other end. Was quite a good batsmen too and came up with several...

*Official* Fifth Test at the SCG

Seriously felt prouder of our 1-1 in SL TBH. We went into the last Test without Harbhajan and Zaheer (who missed the entire series), relied on Sehwag to get us breakthroughs, nearly let the game slip away with that Samaraweera-Mendis partnership, and yet managed a tough fifth-day chase. That...

*Official* Fifth Test at the SCG

...last Test, which SA didn't, and were the only team in with a chance of winning the series. So wouldn't really say SA played much better kallisball than India. Also agree with GF that England's performance in this dead Test (as far as the destination of the Ashes is concerned) sends a serious...
