    That's not really a meme though. Kallisball is a meme, bringing up Kallis randomly is a meme, but people saying he was a better cricketer than any specialist who played in the last 60 years or so is a valid and serious opinion.

    apparently Kallis is so good in all aspects of the game that PEWS decided to call cricket as Kallisball. I hope I had understood the concept correctly. I believe this is the thinking behind this idea.

    There is so much truth to this post. Yeah the Ashes 2009 series was a perfect example. Australia had 6 of the top 7 leading runs scorers and the top 3 wicket takers for the series, yet still managed to lose. As a side note as well, only 2 of the English batsmen scored centuries in the series...

    Rather what I meant, which is why I said "planning", that is to say having a good bowling-to-field plan and bieng accurate enough to stick with it. I have seen very little of Tremmers in domestic limited overs, and I think he'll be something of an unknown quantity - heaven knows if Shaun Tait...

    Yeah, but as much as you do have to be accurate, you have to be accurate in a way that's very different to Test kallisball. In Test kallisball you can be almost boring with your accuracy; you only really need to be accurate in a consistent way to repeatedly bowl similar areas. In T20 you need to...
