    Kapil Dev vs Kumar Sangakkara

Willis was better than Dev but probably not by a lot. He bowled a metric ton of no-balls that didnt count against his personal stats at the time. His average would shoot up to over 28 if they were actually counted properly IIRC. It brings their records closer together than one would think.

I'd give Jurel the gloves and bring in Jadeja for Paddikal tbh.

Rank India's test wins in Australia since 2000

I'd go Brisbane 2021 Perth 2008 MCG 2020 Adelaide 2003 Perth 2024 Adelaide 2018 MCG 2018 2-4 very hard to split, all amazing in their own way.

Will Bumrah get a 10 wicket match haul in his career

Yes tbh. India have also exclusively played with 5 bowler combinations which naturally decreases the chances for one guy taking a big haul.

Where will Steve Smith end up being ranked?

Which part do you disagree with? Smith has the best sustained 5-6 year peak I've ever seen. Overall I'd take lara and Sachins careers but a peak like that counts for a lot in my eyes.

The one draw felt virtually as good as a win too, considering the circumstances

Where will Steve Smith end up being ranked?

Even if his decline gets worse from here, reckon he has an argument to be ranked above Sachin and Lara purely for how amazing his peak was. Maybe not an argument I'd make but I wouldn't dismiss it either. Very easily better than Ponting/Waugh though imo

Seem to keep winning games in Australia now. Fun times. Genuinely think we should keep bumrah as captain. WAFG

Rate these bats in terms of their raw talent

When you're a 16 year old playing against adults you can't overcome the difference in physical development through temperament. Succeeding at a young age is the most obvious indication of pure innate talent.

We're also getting our captain back after the first test instead of losing him. Basically guarantees an Aussie win imo.

Nice ton from Kohli. Low stakes but he's looked great diting it. Good sign for the series.
