*Official* Australia vs West Indies - Frank Worrell Trophy 2022

How bad has the WI bowling been in this match? Any thoughts?

*Official* Australia vs West Indies - Frank Worrell Trophy 2022

So 283 it is. 33 more than what I thought. Can WI bowlers replicate the Aussie performance or at least try? But then, will the Aussie batsmen replicate the WI batters' performance? 8-):D

*Official* Australia vs West Indies - Frank Worrell Trophy 2022

Ever since Bangladesh, the signs had not been looking good for Mayers. He looked like a zombie armed with a bat whenever he opened the innings in ODIs and T20s. No wonder, he looked clueless in a test match.

And the massacre continues... 3-166. 250 A.O. beckons? OR 150 for Jason & 100 for Blackwood... Everyone is allowed to dream. :D

So, the massacre series is underway. So far, going on as per script(except for the 74 run stand). Couple of comments - 1. As much as I admire the stodginess of K Brathwaite, I don't understand some of his actions as captain. If you had to bowl a spinner so desperately and clearly you can see...

*Official* Australia vs West Indies - Frank Worrell Trophy 2022

Meanwhile... Tagenarine has collected a nice 80. Good going. Devon Thomas as a specialist batsman :-O:-O:wacko::wacko: The form of Bonner is worrying. Mayers has unraveled faster than a sweater in his batting since that Bangladesh knock. Hopefully, Da Silva will not disappoint and at least get...

*Official* Australia vs West Indies - Frank Worrell Trophy 2022

Just out of curiosity..who according to you are the best spinners in the Caribbean right now? I assume you're West Indian and are more in touch with the regional happenings. Many ages ago, I used to hear of a certain Imran Khan ( I guess that was the name) who never got a chance in...

WI back to their bizarre tactics as usual. Not giving Tagenarine a chance to get a feel of the conditions. I would have also handed the bat to Chase to give him some confidence and batting practice. But then its WI so I guess I really shouldn't be surprised.

Any of the WI fans know what happened to Shannon Gabriel & his domestic performances of late? It has also been a long and patient wait for Alzarri to really realise his potential that everyone seems to be talking about. Hopefully, he will deliver & improve his average in this series.

Final | England vs Pakistan | Melbourne, 13 November 2022

Congrats to England and my commiserations to Pak fans.

    1st Semi Final | NZ vs Pak | Sydney, 09 Nov 2022

Of course, our opinions may differ. I only meant that when I see this Kiwi batting lineup, the only consistent ( if there can be such a thing in t20) batsmen I would have hopes from are Mitchell & Conway. KW is fine for a run a ball kinda or holding role in case of a collapse but not convincing...

    1st Semi Final | NZ vs Pak | Sydney, 09 Nov 2022

Poor Kiwis ... never turned up for the game. Looked off-colour from the word go. Pak were the exact opposite. As I had feared, the brittle batting lineup was exposed. Of course, being a t20 can't read too much into things like form...but as it turns out a very forgettable evening for them. Pak...

    1st Semi Final | NZ vs Pak | Sydney, 09 Nov 2022

    1st Semi Final | NZ vs Pak | Sydney, 09 Nov 2022

Honestly, I am worried about the current form of NZ batters (most of them seem very brittle)against the pace and spin of Pak. However, my worrying doesn't really mean anything so best of luck Kiwis! Hope you kill this one!

Group 2 (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Netherlands)

Poor..poor Zimbabwe... You get to play against big guns like India once in 500 years and then you lose your mind on such a stage. Extremely poor captaincy and fast bowling did them in. Why would you not use Raza and Williams when they are giving you wickets? Madness!! But understandable...

Group 1 (Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland)

Chinks in the Kiwi armour T20 exposed today. -Terrible bowling let Eng off the hook. On a day when Kiwi pacers are taken to the cleaners, they don't seem to have any plan B making their attack look one-dimensional at times. Not sure about the might of their spinners too against the top teams...

True that. I meant all the so-called "minnows".

Group 2 (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Netherlands)

Way to go Zimbabwe! Brilliant , inspirational and a memorable performance. Sadly, so-called "minnows" still don't get to play against the "big boys" regularly. The joke of an institution called ICC really needs to really put a system in place where associate nations can play against the top 8...

Group B - Ireland, Scotland, West Indies, Zimbabwe

Few people here have confused my post as being about individual players themselves. Probably, I was not clear in expressing myself but I was talking about qualities such as consistency, discipline and responsibility on part of both players and the administration. I am not talking about...
