*Official* Second Test (Lord's, London) 28 June–2 July

The way to go is bowl conventionally and have a more orthodox field set. This is just cowardly and stupid.

I think it's closer to the way Imam ul haq I think was stumped by SL recently than any Mankading dismissal.

*Official* Second Test (Lord's, London) 28 June–2 July

I don't think the current team would beat the 90s one tbh having watched both of them even if a few underachieved in that one.

That or just rotate strike with spread out fields by rolling the wrists. They're getting out trying to clear the ropes.

So basically death bowling tactics and field sets is not a bad ploy against Bazball. When you keep hitting boundaries you don't want to stop and rotate strike for a while.

Stokes is bowling like he is carrying an injury.

Ashwin pretty much got away with accusing them of a conspiracy to alter the drs ball tracking trajectory on air.

*Official* First Test (Edgbaston, Birmingham) 16–20 June

Khawaja got stuck today. Needed to have scored at least 20 more than he did and it would have made England more nervous. Game felt like it was not going anywhere for some time.

England haven't bowled enough over the wicket to Khawaja. He doesn't have a good avg against that angle apparently even if the fad is now to default to a around the wicket line to the leftie.

How is it fixing if you were doing what you were supposed to be doing?

Doing the right thing by keeping it tight here.

Despite the fixing that was probably going on too.

I happened to be watching extended highlights of that 2005 series the other day. The England attack at that time was hostile to say the least with Harmison, Flintoff and Simon Jones.
