    ***Official***Match #21- India vs New Zealand- October 22nd-Dharamsala (D/N)

I've actually missed Ian Smith's commentary.

Despite the dropped catch this is a promising partnership 29 (23). We do bat a little deeper than India as well with Santner down at 8 vs. Bumrah

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

How dirty did we do Michael Rippon selecting him for the one T20 international with an ODI World Cup right around the corner.

With Williamson in the XI I think this is the best team we've ever put out.

*Official* Match #6- New Zealand vs Netherlands- Hyderabad, October 9th

Anyone else find modern day highlights packages completely useless? It's just showing off how many different camera angles they have at the ground, you can't actually see what's happening.

Ravindra and Young should be talking mad **** to each other in between balls.

Can't get past the great Colin de Grandhomme though.

I mean Australia just got bowled out for 199 against India, I don't think our number 7 will go unused in this tournament. It'd be great if that was the case though.

Phillips/Chapman have fantastic T20 records for us so I really like having them down at 6-7

    Black Caps Squad

What's the injury status on Ferguson and Southee? If everyone is available except Williamson I'd make the Netherlands game a shoot out between Ferguson vs. Southee, Ravindra vs. Young, maybe Chapman vs. Neesham. Players like Conway and Henry can be rested.

I'd like my odds if they were running the Tui catch competition during this game.

This 20 over block of part-timers is going to be brutal

Hopefully Edge doesn't absorb too much of the focus, his work in recent years hasn't been my cup of tea, whereas I have enjoyed Christian in AEW a lot.

*Unofficial* New Zealand Black Caps Thread

Williamson and Taylor top scored in that game for us and by that point they were averaging 48 each, and the bowling attack was genuinely world class with Boult, Henry, 2019 Ferguson, plus Santner. So it's not like they randomly got beat by a bunch of nobodies, most of them will end up NZ greats...
