*Official* South Africa in New Zealand 2022

I haven’t see a ball on this series but has Southee started bowling in swingers?

***Official New Zealand Domestic Season 2021/22***

Yep, really good to see. He was ND’s young cricketer of the year only 2 or 3 seasons ago. Good on him for making the move looks like it should pay off for him fairly soon. On that we really have to find a way of bringing some of that youth into our domestic set up. We have batsman galore the...

NZ bat first, West Indies take a small...

I’ve never heard of a single bowler he faced last night ? I’d like to think our ‘b’ team would fare a little better then a bunch of no name club cricketers

Ah yes, ‘Covid’ deaths. We can have dozens and dozens of people drowning all summer long and that’s not a problem. But losing a single person to Covid, nope that’s not okay and you’re an asshole to think otherwise….

Southee, Boult and to a lesser degree Wagner just don’t like facing pace. Southee and Boult in particular never actually get in behind the ball. I’m surprised they haven’t copped more **** about it over the years especially from the opposition. I remember Dale Steyn calling Wagner out last time...

Australia the last time they toured NZ, 2016? They were getting massive reverse, Jackson Bird in particular. He cleaned up Williamson on 90 odd I remember. The only time I’ve seen a team get reverse like that in NZ Of course Cape Town 2018 was the only time they cheated though……. Hmmmm

this is assuming the test XI from the Mount and Matt Henry and Daryl Mitchell stay the same. 1. Guptill 2. Rutherford 3. Phillips 4. Taylor 5. Chapman 6. Cleaver 7. Neesham 8. Santner 9. Milne 10. Ferguson 11. Sears Sodhi will be there, maybe Allen, maybe Seifert. I’m hoping Nathan Smith goes...

Obviously I’ve never been a fan of Tom Blundell but even the Wellington contingent on CW would have to agree if he doesn’t produce by the end of the summer he’s bbq chicken? He’s a 31 going on 32 year old keeper who after this test will average in the 20’s with the bat.Yep, he gets the South...

Nah, no way. Will Young, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, Dane Cleaver, Mark Chapman, Cam Fletcher and Tim Seifert is pretty damn impressive bench strength. Admittedly none of them are likely to average 45 plus in test cricket (I’m still holding out hope for Phillips) but that is...

Three seamers, Ajaz and or Phillps/Ravindra. Santner is unplayable as a test match bowler and he isn’t near those two with the bat.

Jake Gibson is probably a little better then a bowling all rounder for FC level. Have no idea why he’s batting at 10 here
