Feel like we should be encouraged by how much the new ball has done here, Robinson got a good ball that moved off the seam, White has beaten Rhodes a couple of times already too.

352-4, lead of 45, 21 overs left to score another 98 for maximum batting points.

We’ve lost 5 for 63, again, not a bad sign that the pitch has come to life, but we absolutely have to get to 450.

386/6 at lunch. 79 lead.

As well as getting 5 bps we need to get as many as possible. The wickets this morning will give encouragement to our bowlers. Hopefully the wicket won't be totally flat on the final day.

Rain forecast for tomorrow, we’ve got 13 overs to get another 64 runs and if we can achieve that it should be a case of swinging from the hip before we can get bowling. I want atleast 60 overs at them today, which would give us maybe a session tomorrow too, leaving a couple of hours for a quick chase before the forecasted rain comes at around 15:00.

301/1 to 427 all out.

Abysmal. Let's hope the pitch is deteriorating but now the sun is on it, I reckon Yorkshire will enjoy batting in this.

Well, that was absolutely crap. Have to say, it’s criminal to not make 450 there - but it’s a sad indictment on our season so far, every single game we’ve been in strong positions and have surrendered it meekly as ferk.

Credit to Yorkshire for the way they’ve bowled today, they could’ve hoyed the towel in and succumbed to 500+ but instead they’ve stook to their task and secured maximum bowling points. It did plenty today with the new ball, which should be a real positive sign for our bowlers, but I genuinely expect Yorkshire to have a lead of about 100 tonight with fewer than 4 wickets down.

If that first over from Raine is a sign of things to come we’re in bother - couldn’t get a single delivery on a decent line or length.

Looks like it's a case of " Here we go again".

I'll bet Bairstow isn't wingeing about the light at 5pm tonight.

Story of our season, we seem to lack a killer instinct when we get ourselves into a decent position. On what's a good batting pitch to only have 3 players score over 20 is poor.
