    Why we chose to field? Notts made a costly mistake doing that last season. Wait and see but it's been a bat first at CLS for a while now unless overcast and green in early/end of season.

    Seems to happen a lot in the CC at Edgbaston. Groundsman blamed the Kookaburra for the disgraceful pitch he produced against Durham start of last season. Think he needs to go back to drawing board on how to prepare a wicket that isn't a bore draw.

    He scored 165 off 165 balls for the seconds against Durham a few weeks back. Also took 7/54 and 6/116. So a very good few weeks for him!
