    *Official* Pakistan in New Zealand

It's been quite interesting to watch him in a longer format. For a few years in televised Super Smash , or T20is, I have watched. I swear he's bowling pace-off 5 out of 6 balls. If not 100% Now watching him in longer spells. Even his quicker balls are cutters. I'm not just talking wobble...

Sumo on commentary just 'announcing' an NZ A tour to Bangladesh. There was supposed to be one last spring, that got canceled. No mention of when this tour happening. Eg this autumn? Or not until spring again?

Seifert only turned down a provincial contract, anyway.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Cleaver really gave Mariu and Kelly a bit of a nudge for the top run scorer. Had a fantastic back half of the PS season. Congratulation to Van Beek on being top wicket taker with 36 wickets at 20.63 (he also had a pretty good season with the bat, got a FC ton and averaged 28) Some notable all...

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Mariu subbed out mid game for Chamberlain. Presumably for blackcaps duties. That one innings wasn't enough to put him above Kelly on the top run scorers table. Kelly will finish 2 runs ahead.

ND haven't won it for 14 years. That is quite surprising to me. Punching well below their weight.

Kelly's chances of ending season as top Plunket Shield run scorer had nosedived. But now perked up again with Mariu also to miss the final round

Nicholls losing his test place and having to play way more domestic cricket for Canterbury. Has highlighted to me how ****ing good he actually is. Looks really dominant. I've been in the 'move him on' camp. Still am, but it does reveal the gulf between Nicholls-class v...

Was a good link by the author of Aitken's mentally torturous approach to Mark Richardson's. Youth teammates, one who managed to make it work (albeit belatedly, and in a completely new role) and the other didn't. It was actually a bit disappointing aitken hadn't read his book or had any insights...

Pat Symcox's dedication to sledging in a relatively meaningless warmup tour match is a thing to behold. I guess even sledgers need warm-ups for their sledging?

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Neil Wagner started this season as the 8th highest wicket taker in Plunket Shield history with 349 wickets. And he has moved up to 4th all time, with 361. He could move to 2nd place if he got another 10 wickets (first place is waaaaaay out of reach). But, I don't know what his availability is...
