  • good on you for challenging people in the covid thread. I'm pro-vaccine but really uncomfortable with mandates, completely degrades peoples trust in institutions which the already had lost faith in.

    Yeah exactly that. I’ve actually been called an anti vaxxer (am vaxed) purely for not believing they should be mandatory. you’ve summed it up exactly right. And any product that needs to be mandatory just makes me suspicious by default

    Atlamál in grœnlenzku (The Greenlandic Lay of Atli) is one of the heroic poems of the Poetic Edda. It relates the same basic story as Atlakviða at greater length and in a different style. The poem is believed to have been composed in Greenland, most likely in the 12th century. It has 103 stanzas and is the only Eddic poem written entirely in the metre málaháttr.

    Oh yeah I remember you mentioning you were going to do just that. The really crazy **** at work should have subsided by then so I'll definitely be in for the game. TV wise I've only got time for mini-series for now but SoA has been on my list for ages.
