Whatever it takes!!!
Hardik is just slogging blindly now. Has to get the singles here and let Rahul face the pace. He has not been good against pace for a while now, Hardik.

A long half volley with a cover tight on the one isn't a poor ball? It's his first ball back of the spell so you can understand, but it was poor. Rahul only had to lean on it
He played it on the up. It was not a half volley at all. It was short of good length and he stood up and punched it on the up off the heels.

Then we're not talking about the same ball. I mean O'Rourke's first ball of his spell:

O'Rourke to Rahul, FOUR runs
Four to start the 45th over. Too full outside off, Rahul stays still and drills the cover drive away from the fielder deep.

Moss

International Captain
If Nathan Smith was basically a free hit pick , why didn't NZ send him as a pinch hitter when they batted ?
Once Henry was out injured I think NZ were pretty much resigned to playing with 10. Though not selecting Duffy is pretty damning for the man considering he’s been permanent backup for a while now.

Definitely see imprints of GG all over this side now. They dont want to take the chase to the last over. Its fine as long as he can temper his own stuff with some common sense sometimes. Much like Bazball, it has potential to be gamechanging for India but he has to be humble and not buy his own hype train.

Or in GG's case, just not be a bitter man and be more open to ideas.
