I think it's natural as well. I am aware that I tends to, not exactly overrate, but rate a tad bit higher; Indian players than non Indian ones. Same applies to most posters ig.
It shouldn't be the default.

You started almost from the jump. One of your first posts was if you were the only one who though Sunny was better than Viv.

Then it was Sachin is in a tier by himself.

And now it's the Kapil thing where different rules seems to apply depending on what nations the players are from.

Re having preferences, Subz says I do the same thing with Marshall, but it really isn't. He's the greatest bowler, why isn't he top 3 or 5, and I have McGrath and Hadlee right behind him.

Just tired of everything being a partisan exercise.

Dude you ****ing put Sobers over Don and Marshall in a tier with them. I will suggest you not to speak on this matter.

You stated you would replace Hammond for Kallis in your second ATG XI though based on slips and stuff.

So you still contradict yourself.
Now you're making up ****.

1. They bit make my 2nd XI and quite comfortably.

2. They are both excellent slip specialists, two of the best ever.

3. The argument you're referring to is who would replace Sobers in the first if he didn't exist and slips didn't enter the conversation.

So not only no contradiction, you're just looking for an argument.

And yes, no doubt for me the cordon is a higher priority, makes no sense having great bowlers and no one to take the chances.

That's still not comparable to taking Kapil Dev over Walsh, Cummins or any such bowler.

Also, I stand by what I said. Sunny is very close to Viv, though I now rate Viv slightly ahead. Sachin was never in a tier with himself, you made that the **** up. He just has a better case for BAB than anyone bar Hobbs (who is simply better). And Kapil being better than Walsh being a controversy is hysterical.

BS. Your views are below and you refer to slips. This is just a flat out contradiction to what you said before about primary being most important to overlook a bowling AR.

It's one thing to lie about others views and another to lie about your own. Hence why I call you shifty.

Hammond I rate 10th, Kallis 14th, and Kallis the much more used and effective bowler. In the cordon it's closer, but yeah, Hammond definely ahead, so combined Hammond is ahead. But for a designated all rounder role, which the no. 6 position literally is, Kallis has the advantage.

Not sure about comparing an all rounder with a bowler. It's always hard to do. Then it becomes harder due to utility in an average team.

One way to see will be,

If Walsh takes 4 wickets at avg of 25 and Kapil takes 4 wickets at avg of 32 then Walsh is saving 28 runs as well. 28 runs by Kapill gets cancelled in that situation.

Just using this as an example and I have not looked at numbers closely.

I don’t think so. I do think you have a bias towards Windies players in general, but most users on here naturally have a bias towards players from their own country, unless they really hate the individual. Shouldn’t really be a big issue between anybody, rather it should be expected and just accepted.

Believe it or not, even users like @Migara and @Fuller Pilch have a very slight bias towards their own players.

I probs do too. viva la Bradman

Not a rant, I was making a point. You made a serous accusation against me to which you haven't even apologized and continue to be disingenuous as ever.

You literally are the worst.
I said you have a tendency to downgrade SC cricketers. I stand by that. I don't think you do it for the reasons you assume I think you do it.

The problem with our friend Kyear is he has to insist he is above the fray and ends up sounding sanctimonious.

I rank Viv at 5th and Sunny at 10th all time, and I won't pretend there's a tier between them tho do think there is a clearly discernible gap in Viv's favour.
