I bet if you were to find a video on a specific bowler everyone in the comments would call them the greatest. I recently saw this myself with Waqar.

Graeme Smith is clearly the (way^2) better batter, but as an overall cricketer, I think I rate Goddard a bit higher (plus the left arm variety)

Now I'd probably go for either one of Barlow or Mitchell (Barlow probably).

I won't have Barlow over Smith or Mitchell here, as he will basically be a 6th/7th bowler alongside Kallis; but captaincy is certainly not a point in favour of Smith over Barlow of all people. Barlow was an exceptionally strong captain, especially at man management. Smith was good, but don't think he was spectacular at anything really.
