Klopp must be furious. Spends his entire Liverpool career pretty much always on the wrong side of the City rivalry, then the moment he goes they turn to ****, Arsenal forget how to build a squad and Salah cannot do a thing wrong.

This has been one of the shitest Prem seasons ever, even S*uthampton getting humped every week has become tedious.

idk I think he's a guy who likes being the underdog who won once, it's not like he ended his stint trophyless and disrespected just because MCFC won a couple more titles during his tenure

Yeah it's been sh*te. Some rather mediocre teams and lots of poor planning and summer recruitment by a whole host of teams including City, Arsenal and Man United, but certainly not limited to them. My lot (West Ham), have had a couple of years of dreadfully mediocre planning, with some dreadful recruits. Forest, Brentford, Bournemouth are certainly the other side of that coin. Very carefully and astutely recruited and certainly well coached managed, particularly in the case of the last two.

The Champions League places are the only thing of interest left in the season, and it makes no difference to me which teams get to piss around Europe next Autumn.

Anyway, at least my lot now look like they've got Championship football pretty much secured for next season and the only S Coast Derby that really matters can be played again (and I quite fancy our chances too).

You also have a very good chance of finishing top 4 or 5, which should mean CL. Isak is outstanding. Newcastle have had a difficult year or so until the last few weeks because of financial matters, but a lot of good work had been done in the last couple of years before then.

We wouldn't be top right now if Klopp was in charge. Simple as that.

Also.. maybe controversial but I don't think I'd be giving Salah prem PoTS.

He's been phenomenal (Balon D'or worthy) but I think most LFC fans would agree that VVD has been far and away our most consistent.

India-Pakistan wasn’t the only grudge match yesterday, a rather comfortable 2-0 win for Watford against our nearest and dearest L*ton, played them off the park in the first half and had them at arms length in the second. We’re up to ninth, no change at the bottom!

BARNES OUT
Last year Mo Salah did not even finish in the top 30 best players According to Balon Dor journos..
He had his worst year since joining Liverpool tbf - though probably should still have been in the top 30.

Not sure where the idea Salah doesn't get enough respect is coming from - will leave as one of the top 3 Prem players of all time along with KDB and Henry.

If you're not sure having looked at where Salah finishes in Balon D'Or every year then I can't help you.

Salah is on 25 goals from 27 games , nobody else in the Liverpool team has hit double figures for goals.

Even though no other teammate of Salah has hit double figures for goals this season , Mo has 16 assists!

So in 27 games he has 41 G/A involvements.

That's Prime Messi/Ronaldo numbers in La Liga.

He's also become the first player in Premier League history to hit 40+ goals and assists in a season, twice in a career.

The all time record in the Prem is 47 Goals & Assists by Shearer and Cole. And that was when the EPL had 22 teams in the league.

Salah's having one of the all time great seasons in the Premiership.

Really? The others are so poor that Forest are challenging for 2nd. I reckon I could've managed Liverpool to top spot, especially since Salah only has to be within 30 yards of a goal to either score or set one up, whilst the squad has basically had no serious injuries. They can even afford Nunez to be worse than Heskey.

I dunno if "most disrespected" is something that could ever be meaningfully quantified, but he should have won the Balon d'Or. As should have TH.

Just shows what a prank award it is anyway really, as is the case with most individual awards given out in relation to team sports.

I don't care for the stats.

I've watched every minute of every game and I'm telling you Virgil has been performing at a higher level more consistently.

I probably wouldn't disagree with you, but there's one fella turning draws into victories week in week out with momentary pieces of brilliance, and that's Salah.
