one of the worst white ball teams currently in the game? England. were absolutely horrible in the ODI world cup, and here as well, in same conditions. This is like watching a battle between a person and a tortoise.

I'm not sure about worst, but definitely the stupidest. If they just used their brains a bit more they'd improve significantly.

Good stat this - In all of the 6 games played so far, every England player selected (from 1-11) has had a bat. It's so ****ing obvious where the problem is, yet they never change. This Indian team is basically better than them in most departments, but at least give yourselves the best chance by putting some pressure on them. The one game they won was when India had a relatively tough target to chase. But 249 is just nothing on this pitch.

also doesnt help their best bowler, Carse, is being taken to the cleaners.

He is not suited to these pitches. In fact, Carse is not a good white ball bowler- he should be limited to Tests only.

Apart from Jofra, the attack is very insipid.

Dawid Malan should not have been dropped from the side , he was the victim of ageism ..

So what if he's 37 if you got someone averaging 55+ he should leave on his terms cause he's producing in the top 1% of ODI batsmen in terms of performance.

A couple of consolation wickets for Rashid, but no way India screwing this up.

what was the point? hes obviously bad for white ball. starred in an abject world cup campaign i remember.
the point is he has barely played any 50 over cricket since 2019. the ECB think they can parachute him in with zero practice and hit the ground running.
