Rest of his away tours I don't think he distinguished himself as the best touring batter, I'd say Dravid & sometimes even Sehwag did better.

Still I'd pick him ahead of Smith though, could change by end of Smith's career who knows.

Aus 07/08- 4 matches, 493 runs @70
SA 2010/11- 3 matches, 326 runs @81

Surely count as dominant tours. The one in SA had Steyn bowling as well as a fast bowler ever has too.
