Still early days. Average is mid 20s BBL 5 matches which is par. Test average 28 off a low sample size and tough wickets. If he plays SL he will trend towards 20 test average as he can't play spin.

IMHO he just looks average is what I'm saying. He's not a future star or a future great.

They should've given him more time to develop rather than select. Same mistake they made with JFM
