I hate this obsession with giving guys 'international experience' by playing them in ODIs. Playing in ODIs doesn't teach you to bat all day and get double hundreds or to defend when necessary. It's damaging our most promising talents. The only people who are getting experience in the Shield are the more mediocre ones.

No doubt he’s batting strange but seeing McSweeney wilt has made him think all out attack is the answer. It’s not that important given his peak is likely 8-10 years away
