It’s not Konstas fault Usman is finished at this level. An opener afraid of a fired up quick won’t make it at test level.

If Khawaja had any ability to move forward at all he'd still be there anyway. But it's never been a major feature of his play and certainly won't become one on an untrustworthy pitch at 38 years old.

Yeah that was a brilliant knock. So was his second innings in Brisbane last year vs WI. If the deck plays up he and Head are realistically the only guys in this set up who are a decent chance of making runs, and for completely different reasons
