Imran is not at all overrated. In fact even his good pictures don't do justice to how good looking he was in real life (and for a 70+ year old is still quite decent looking).
I had the opportunity to watch him in real life and I could then see why women all over the world would be smitten by him.

Him being tall and lean definitely added to it. In the post I just wrote above about aura, Imran is certainly on that list, he had a lot of it.

Mate, you are likely even more biased on this topic than you were about Gautam Gambhir's attractiveness or lack thereof.
But yeah, I remember Imran had quite a few female fans in India too. But from whatever I remember as a 7 or 8 year old, Ravi Shastri and Kapil Dev were the top ones at least in India when it comes to looks. And there was a time a popular tamil song in a movie spoke about how young girls were really in love with how good Kambli, Lara and Sachin looked. Circa 1995.

Oh, he had a fairly decent female fan following in India. I remember Sunny wrote in his book that for one of Pakistan's tours to India the Indian and Pakistani cricketers were put in people's homes. Imran and Sunny were staying in one home while other cricketers were paired off into other homes. He mentioned that all day long there was a constant stream of girls coming to the home they were staying in to see Imran.

Yeah, here in NZ I would say Chris Cairns, Fleming Adam Parore and Southee are the standouts. But overall is Imran the undisputed champion.
Vettori, at his peak, was noticeably better looking in person than you'd expect.
I'd also throw up names like Will Young, Ish Sodhi, Wags, Reece Young (who looks exactly the same now as he did at 25) and the silver fox of yesteryear, Mark Burgess.
