Tendulkar if I know I'll need a batter and Murali if I need a bowler seems like the easy answer though.

I think only Tendulkar would work as an impact sub - you can only replace overseas for overseas with 3 overseas players starting. Had also meant to ask you and @Bitmap which player the impact sub would be replacing in the XI in most cases.

I would be up for that, voting would just be a bit tougher as some franchises retentions will handicap some teams more than others.
