He looks in terrible touch, missing out on hit me balls and generally struggling to get off strike. Hope it's not some extended 55 strike rate knock like the one he had the other week
Good call this. Was the match losing innings IMHO.

Another win chasing for us. The batting lineup is coming together. Rutherford has added a whole new layer of threat, if only Pooran would play ODIs and bat 3 instead of Carty. Greaves played a really reassuring innings as well. I think it might be time for him to open instead of King and get Jangoo, Hety or Jewel Andrew in at 6.

The way that Sherfane is playing, I think he’s as confident as they come. I like his style, not afraid to dig in while it is tough, but once he’s set, he goes crazy.

Perfect.

Greaves eased into this format nicely. Pooran may have to revisit some of his flaws in the longer game. I want Jangoo in so bad.

Well done to the Windies. Ended up being a beautifully constructed chase in the end and Sherfane Rutherford produced an exhibition of hitting that was out of the top drawer.

Have to say that was another illustration of the difference in capacity between our batsmen and other teams'. I was watching Jaker and Mahmudullah, quite impressed by the way they were striking the ball. Then the Windies came out and showed us how much easier it looks when good batsmen decide to start tonking.

Hitting is our thing though. What surprised me is Bangladesh using up more dot balls than us. That shouldn't happen given how bad we are at rotating strike.
