Feel Stokes watching England thinks they are batting too slowly, don't think a declaration today.

Finally figured out that I can get the tvnz app to work if I use the live TV function instead of the dedicated match stream.

I know it's out of fashion but I kinda want someone from the BCs camp to come out and give everyone a bollocking, there is literally no way of putting a positive spin on this series. Can someone please display an actual identifiable negative emotion.
i've been saying that NZ reeks of fake positivity/gentlemanly BS for years. They need to be more c***y if they want to be a top top side

On one hand I'm glad that NZ who tormented India is getting thrashed. On the other hand I am sad that NZ who is getting so thrashed tormented India.

Don't agree tbh, they weren't ****y when they won the WTC, unless you count Wagner's bouncer approach as that, which some do. Also as much as it's annoying to hear meaningless platitudes in press conferences, I don't think that matters a whole heap either. It's what they're doing in the camp, coaching, culture etc that matters.

A good reason not to bother watching press conferences tbh.

maybe Latham as captain in that case just not showing enough initiative when the going is getting tough

Hard disagree here. I think an inability to express anything remotely negative is indicative of a toxic positivity type environment, which is very in line with the performances we're seeing.

Maybe, though the decline in performance certainly pre-dates Latham by a long way. I was pretty sceptical of him becoming test captain, though there's not a heap of options and he has the India win on his record.

Could be. It's possible what a team projects externally is completely divorced from what they do internally. Though in our case eh it probably isn't.
