Turned out all he Sangha ever had to do was just move to a decent state

Seriously though, well played. It's only one innings, but still an encouraging start

Great decision tassie to bowl first lol
Fair point. In fairness the pitch did look green af, but really it didn't take long to see that it actually is a little on the dead side. Tassie also bowled a a bit too much rubbish early though

I've heard he had a similar problem to mcgurk at the Vic's (**** circle of mates; bad attitude to training).
Yeah I saw that suggested elsewhere too. Seems at least plausible, but I don't know enough to comment either way

Henry Hunt seems to be rocks or diamonds

3 tons already this season already but virtually nothing else

Also has 11 in his career so just needs some consistency

A Sangha ton and an Edwards 5er. What a day for Team Fetus

the thing with Sangha is that his conversion rate was always good. I think he would have had 3 tons before he failed to convert a 50. It's now 5 tons/9 50's, but some of the 50's he didn't convert would be in the 75 to 99 range too. It's a real strength, and enough of a lure to be interested imo. I don't think it would be that shocking to see him kill it in his late 20s

it's just, you know, the getting to 50 part that's a problem

Sangha actually made lots of runs in Sydney grade to keep getting recalled too.

Honestly even though it might not be a historically popular opinion here, I have always suspected there might be a genuinely good FC standard bat in there somewhere with Sangha. It may have been only sighted very sporadically with NSW (apart from one good season), and I'm not for a second arguing he wasn't given ample chance there, but he isn't the weapons grade spud some here have liked to claim

Sometimes a change of scenery can do great things for a cricketer

He’s only just turned 25 so still a very young man.
