Despite what two posters in particular think, Viv had a pretty good technique.

He has a flawed front foot game and has shown problem on turners while Viv at a similar stage absolutely murderered the Quaret on spin friendly wickets, and Root is far inferior to Viv who has decisively outplayed Brook in England.

Pretty confident Brook can become Englands first 50+ averaging batsman since the 1950s and will have a well rounded record.
