He hasn't kept in Tests for over five years now. Nurul was a thing for a little while in between.Fair enough. Didn't realise that he wasn't always a keeper before Liton took over.

That data is about the same vintage though lolHe hasn't kept in Tests for over five years now. Nurul was a thing for a little while in between.
Yeah I do wonder how he'd have gone batting 4 or 5 for a middling team and not keeping, even in the same bat-friendly era. He obviously wasn't just a downhill skiier but even when he came in in a crisis he had a license to play the did with a clear head because he didn't bear the responsibility of a specialist top order batsman, and he never had to face the new ball in a crisis either (only had to face it if a famously quick-scoring side had faced 80 overs and then lost their fifth wicket...)Oh definitely.
He played in the same era as Punter, who's downgraded by many because of said era. Not to add coming in much lower in the order, often with no pressure and a green light to attack.
He's a little over rated as a batsman, but he's become under rated with the gloves to some extent.
And he still has a healthy gap over Knotty.
But he batted in literally the strongest batting lineup of all time, in a flat era, and was the cheat code coming in at 7 when the attack was already, for the most part beaten down.
Yeah but that's my point. He'd have gone up since then but only through playing not as a keeper. That data is about the same vintage though lol
Yeah I would still have him in my ATG XI but I see a decent argument now for Knott or even Flower (need to study his keeping more).Oh definitely.

He's a slam dunk for the team partially because of Warney, and we know how good he was with him. Anyone else and there's a discussion.Yeah I would still have him in my ATG XI but I see a decent argument now for Knott or even Flower (need to study his keeping more).
Sobers BTFO.Batsmen who bat below 4 (arguably 3) aren't even real batsmen imo.
He was a joke thing. He hasn't kept in Tests for over five years now. Nurul was a thing for a little while in between.
Not unlike your face.He was a joke thing.
Whats BTFO?Sobers BTFO.
