England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

England are scoring 500 or 150. Deck isn't anywhere near what it usually is on day 1 but also their bowlers haven't been consistent so haven't utilized the pitch fully.

A very lame series of dismissals. However, despite a lot of talk about a flat pitch I feel like there’s been pretty consistent and sometimes exaggerated seam movement?

FFS now Blundell throwing his wicket away to another bog ordinary ball from Bashir, we are making England's decision to bowl first look alright now.

Bit of a travesty that Blundell is in the side, while Young is not. Just give Conway the gloves, let Young open and pick your best XI. Which obviously doesn't include Southee.

Blundell should have pushed the boat out and played a second round of (away) plunket shield last week His career is on the line. On Final push was needed.

Plan for England to take wickets today: Get ball to other end.

It's true that there's been the occasional ball that's bounced more than expected, but still think the pitch is very even-paced overall.
