If one wants to wait to say that one has had a better career, then fine. But there's absolutely no doubt who is the better bowler.

Sorry, this isn't remotely close.

Even if Bumrah has a bad decline he should end up with a sub 24 average
As he averages 20 now, he has to average 28/29 in his remaining matches to end up with an average of 24 or so.
Really depends on how bad the decline will be. Let's say, he'll average 33+ in his remaining matches (and I'm assuming he has played 50% of the matches in his career), then he would then end up with an average of 26/27.

Viv was averaging 53+ after playing like 120 matches (WSC) for 15 years, doing very well in 83-88. Bumrah is not going to play 15 years so not really compareable cases
