Greame Pollock vs Sobers

Pollock only played for the equivalent of about six years, his whole Test career was basically peak. Sobers played for 16 and still averaged mid 50s. Gotta be Sobers here.

It's obviously Sobers for amount of time played and number of games.

But the peak thing is wrong. Pollock played from 19-27. Late 20s to early 30s is usually peak. Pollocks averages by calender years from first to last were 20s, 40s, 60s, and 3*70s, which suggests that his record took a big hit by playing a disproportionate amount of his career very young. It's LOL samplesize stuff TBF, but there is no reason to believe the criticism is right.
