Bazball has had it's successes but you feel a few things need to change.

What has happened the last two tests has been happening to England (and Australia for that matter) for about as long as I can remember.

Bazball won England Multan '22 which was a similarly spinny but not rank turner pitch. Maybe our bowling was worse for the absence of the Funcles but England got about 100 more runs Bazballing in the first innings than they otherwise would've. Not sure what's gone wrong this time.

They've definitely been caught cold by the pitches and Noman&Sajid have bowled very well.

Ramiz Raja should be brought to justice for his crimes against Pakistan cricket. This is still the worst Pakistan team ever but to nerf it completely with home conditions that helped the opposition was borderline criminal. No surprise that we've won on turning tracks in SL who are a decent side in the same time we've won jack at home. England have won like, twice as much in Pakistan since the pitches were Rajafied than in the 50s and 60s.

Yeah I was going to say huge credit to Pakistan for changing tactics but really the strange thing is why were they not playing on these wickets the whole time.

Wonderful bowling from Pakistan. Four lean scores from Root when the ball has turned is disappointing though. Admittedly got a very good one there.

I suspect we've got the worst spin stocks on the Test circuit presently.

Patel, Santner and Phillips have done well and that's not a stellar line up.

SA got these pitches when they toured in 2021 too. The excuse at the time was that the curators were struggling to prepare non-roads because Pakistan hadn't hosted tests in a long time but suspiciously the pitches have been pretty typically subcontinental either side of that reign of terror.

Pakistan were hesitant for a long time to make turning tracks because they weren't convinced by their spinners. Imagine what they would think of our spinners.

Think Motie from WI is better than anyone we have too.
