Interesting to see Nick Greenwood getting a bowl. Wellington haven't used him in that role much in the past, though I also see he's been bowling a lot more for Jersey too of late. Perhaps it's a way for him to solidify his place in the team? I guess we'll see over the next few months.

Interesting, I see he got 61 off 50 balls today for ND A and is in his last year at school. Seem like a player to keep an eye on.

Foulkes having a very tidy start to the season. A couple of absolute peaches today. I wonder if O'Roulke will become the new Bouthee.

Locky taking the wind out of Wellington's sails. Kelly looked about a half hour late on that ball that bowled him. Tim Robinson playing a very mature innings here to keep them in the contest, good to see he's not just a basher.

Lucky for Wellington: McKenzie had a plumb lbw followed by an edge perceived by Auckland to be very clear both denied against Nathan Smith.

This Pukekura game is very funny. Chasing 350 in 44 overs, CD trotted along at a little over 3 an over for the first 15 until the RRR rose to 12, and now Schmulian and Boyle are absolutely belting it.

Yes, usually needing 100 off 50 balls even with 8 wickets in hand would seem unlikely but at Pukekura Park CD might be favourites.

You'll all be pleased to know that Wags behaved exactly as you would expect and was more focused on the test than any of his teammates. A few other ND guys came and went but Wags was there the whole time, sprawled out on the couch, even stayed there by himself for a while when all of his mates had left.

Unfortunately I couldn't sidle up alongside him when he stood up without making it weird so I couldn't get a great height assessment. Surprisingly skinny legs though.

This is awesome and there should be a thread for mundane cricketer sightings. I've seen Trent twice in the last couple of years - once at a mall the day before he should have played the Mount Test, and the other a few weeks ago at Time Zone with his boys. They had a few tokens and he would only let them purchase within their token limit, rather than the millions of franchise dollars in his bank account. I found that humourous
