He can do it, and I think he knows what is required ..There is 4 tests at home to Bangladesh and New Zealand respectively, he has to score some big hundreds .

Probably won’t given he’s a candidate for retirement soon. Will be surprised if this isn’t his last Test season tbh. One final shot at the WTC.

He’s thereabouts with Root and KW who are both slightly ahead. At best he gets to par with them if he has a very good BG and Eng series.

I honestly think he'll hang it if England and Australia don't go well, that's a BIG test, if the collective averages of those serieses are mid 30s and one hundred or none, I think he'd retire after India loses the next WTC final to Australia.

I cannot recall who it was but one (or two) of Kohli's groupies - @CodeOfWisden or that luffie boi - were arguing adamantly against me how Kohli's ''form'' in South African tour means his average is not going to drop and that he'd overcome his lean '''patch''.

Lmao

Kohli's average (47.83) just dropped below 4 Australians. Neil Harvey, Doug Walters, Bill Ponsford and Stan McCabe. About to drop below Gilchrist (47.60) as well

Forget his average. Does Kohli have one more big one in him to extend his lead in most highest scores. That is his legacy.
